1. On the 25th of March the Australian and New Zealand soldiers landed on Banks peninsula 1915.


2. The site where the Anzacs landed “Gallipoli” was re-named Anzac cove.


3. More than 11,000 Anzacs died in Gallipoli despite only being there for 8 months.


4. WWll started on September 1st 1939 and ended on September 2nd 1945.


5.the first dawn service on Anzac day was 1923.


6. Anzac biscuits were made for the soldiers from oats because they don’t go off.


7. A man called Peter Jackson took old films of the war and colorised it all.


8. Most of the Anzacs who fought were volunteers.


9. Poppies are a symbol of the dead bodys because the people who fought got buried and wild poppies grew on them.🥀🌹


10.WWl started on July 28 1914 and ended 11 November 1918.
